Q: Who does Celtic FC Foundation help?
A: We are an organisation here for all, regardless of gender, age, religion, race, or ability. Our priority is to provide assistance to those who face daily challenges within our key priority areas. In addition we offer support in the form of delivery and/or partnership to external charities and other organisations who offer value in the community and whose principles fit within these key priority areas.
Partick Thistle Community Trust is an independent charity that uses the Partick Thistle FC brand to deliver quality coaching, health and well-being, employability, diversionary and social inclusion programmes. The Trust engages with people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds in the North of Glasgow, using football as the common denominator in many cases. It has made a huge impact on many people’s lives through a number of highly-regarded programmes including Football Fans in Training, aimed at men between the ages of 35 – 65 years old to make lifestyle changes to improve their health, fitness and lose weight: the North West Youth Programme, attracting 80 youngsters a week that encourages participation and sort while offering help with employability, training and vocational trips; and supporting ground breaking developments in disability-related football such as Frame Football Scotland and Finding your Feet Scotland.
